Greetings, Visitor! - -0/4-/2002
You may notice that I have not added to my gallery in quite a while. There is good reason. 2001 was quite an eventful year for my family, my friends, and me -- not to mention for Americans as a whole. We lost my father at age 72. We lost a very dear friend of ours, Billy Vaughn at age 56, and America lost thousands in New York & Washington in a matter of minutes. Yet throughout all the sorrow and tears, our business has seen much success and grown at a drastic pace, along with our workload. It's been a wild and bittersweet ride... and it isn't over yet.

So far 2002 has been even more life altering for me personally. After living a reasonably lucky forty-two year existence relatively free of medicos and hospitals, I now get to discover my own mortality. Surprise, surprise, Frank, you have crusty coronary circulation. It looks like I will be offline for a couple of months while I recover from the new pipes those amazing blood plumbers plan to install in my chest.

Don't start smoking, kids. It ain't worth it! After smoking for 22 years, I quit four years ago. I thought I had dodged that bullet ...that'll teach me to think. And just because you don't become fat from eating tasty junk food that doesn't mean it's not doing your body serious harm. My wife Lori and I are discovering to our dismay just how much artery clogging cholesterol is in EVERYTHING we like. And trying to maintain a tasty low sodium diet is very difficult. Even low-fat/low-chloresterol foods are heaped with it -- and what processed food we can find touting low sodium is the blandest stuff this side of a cardboard box. Even still, every time I think I have it bad I find a hundred examples of how good my life really is. Life is a wonder and a beautiful thing, and I believe life's beauty is enhanced in value with each tragic encounter.

Well, enough of my rambling. If you have read this far, I thank you. I will create more works for this gallery just as soon as I can. In the meantime I wish you peace, good health, and happiness, kind visitor.
