| I began making this car as a way to teach myself NURBS modelling in Cinema 4D. Somewhere along the way my father died. He was a good, kind, loving man and father, and an expert auto mechanic and craftsman. I will love and miss him always. Then I learned that John Phillips had died. His music shaped my earliest definitions of what great song writing is all about while The Mamas and Papas gave me some of my most favorite songs to dream to. And then I heard that Ed "Big Daddy" Roth had also passed away. His Rat Fink character was one of my first artistic inspirations. Those splendidly grotesque, hot rod driving characters that Big Daddy created helped this six-year-old Simi Valley kid decide to draw and paint every chance he could get for the rest of his life. So, within a month's time, I lost three men who were partly to blame for the person I am today. Like all good leaders, they have gone on ahead to light the way. And now this concept car/NURBS lesson has a new meaning for me. Thank you for viewing and reading. Note: some objects from Bryce's Add-on pack were used in the garage.
